I wash all my wigs in Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo that leaves the super soft and shiny! maybe that is what happened to the other reviews wig. Also I just use Chi flat irons and heat protectant. I never use a hot comb on my wigs. But, I can identify with some shedding. But this wig was so so thick! I took the thinning shears to her ;-) After that there wasn't any tangles or shedding. I  love this wig! I still love Dina more! Nothing like Dina! But this wig is good for cold days unless you get it custom ordered and less density. But, since I thinned it she can be worn anytime.
